Work and Clients:
Simon is Partner in charge of the London office. He has gained a wide spectrum of experience in Building Surveying and Project Management on a diverse range of projects in the retail, health, education and residential sectors upto £25million in value.
Before DCP:
Simon graduated from the Polytechnic of the South Bank in 1988 where he obtained a degree in Building Surveying. Between graduating and joining DCP Simon worked for Hillier Parker May & Rowden and Buckley Smith & Porter.
Member of:
Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors - Chartered Building Surveyor, Chartered Project Management Surveyor.
Registered CDM Co-ordinator, Member of the Association of Project Safety.
Proudest Professional Moment:
Chairman of the London Junior Branch of the RICS (Responsible to 7000 Surveyors in Greater London).
Most Embarrassing Professional Moment:
Simon says there are many! However he did take a telephone call from a Partner of Vizards, Staples and Bannisters (Solicitors) thinking the caller was trying to sell stationery and staircase parts. A lot of humble pie was eaten when the caller put him straight.
Interests outside work:
Family; Anne, his wife and three children. sailing and squash. Simon is a Parish Councillor at Layer de la Haye, near Colchester
