The Daniel Connal Partnership assisted with an application for European Objective 2 grant funding through the preparation of a budget estimate for a replacement community centre facility for the market town of Swaffham, Norfolk. DCP acted as Quantity Surveyors for the Jeremy Stacey Architects’ designed building which provides community offices and a café as well as meeting rooms and function spaces.
DCP undertook cost planning, prepared Bills of Quantities as part of the tender documentation within a traditional procurement approach, and successfully managed the contract costs to deliver the project within budget. The Daniel Connal Partnership also produced tender documentation including service level agreements for a variety of support services for the subsequent facilities management of the community centre.
