Award of Distinction
Curson Lodge of St Nicholas Street, Ipswich, has been given an ‘award of distinction’ by The Ipswich Society. The building, which dates from Tudor times, had been empty for twelve years prior to its renovation. DCP acted as Quantity Surveyor and helped to successfully deliver the building on budget, it has now been converted into mixed retail/residential use. During the renovation, several historic discoveries were made including remnants of 18th century wallpaper, which has been preserved as a feature.
